Hello, you awesome person! I'm excited to be participating in ITPE again this year, and I hope you are too! Below you'll find a rundown of my requested fandoms and likes/dislikes, in no particular order:

This varies widely depending on the canon, obviously--so no zombie apocalypse AUs for, say, The Good Place, but something dealing with necromancy and the Dead and the various horrors thereof set in the Old Kingdom would fit the bill. So if you're interested in delving into the darker side of things in a fandom that has the canon foundations for it, I'd be down for that :D

General Do Not Wants:
- scat, vomit, vore, toilet humor
- extensive soundscaping--I'm fine with stuff like intro-outro music and incidental sound effects, but my auditory processing issues mean lots of stuff overlapping the narration is going to make it hard for me to listen.
- related to the above: sound switching back and forth from one ear to the other whatever the technical term for that is
- medical horror and medical kink
- pandemic-centric modern AUs
- mythology AUs
- misunderstandings/miscommunication, especially as a plot device to make characters have a reason not to talk to each other. This is something I can get into if it's centered around differences in culture/life experience/language/etc, but I really don't like the "I overheard the tail end of a conversation with no context, and now I'm going to apply the worst possible interpretation of those words and not ask anyone what's actually going on" flavor. Basically, if a simple two-minute conversation could solve 100% of the conflicts in the story, it's probably safe to say it isn't something I'll be into. :P
- high-protocol or lifestyle D/s
- Daddy kink, ageplay, petplay
- degradation/humiliation kink
- dirty talk that sounds like it was lifted from a low-budget porno, unless it's intended by the character(s) to be over-the-top ridiculous instead of sexy
- ass-to-vagina and ass-to-mouth, unless there's an explicit in-text mention of the dick/fingers/toy in question being cleaned (or the condom being replaced, or a sanitizing spell being cast, or...) before insertion into the new orifice. This includes "they banged last night, and then banged again this morning, putting those bits places they oughtn't with no clean-up mentioned in between" situations as well; let me know they showered first, pls and thank you :P
- graphic on-screen torture or mutilation, especially in a sexual context (aftermath/recovery is great, I just don't want to hear about the gory details as they're happening!)
- parent/child incest
- love triangles not eventually resolved by turning into OT3s
- jealousy/possessive behavior. It's fine in a roleplay context where everyone's getting off on the "RAWR, MINE!!!" game, and unconscious jealousy leading to feelings realization ("...Wait, why do I feel weird seeing them flirt with other people all of a sudden?") is delicious, but no stories where it's played completely straight, please, even if there's in-narrative acknowledgement that it's unhealthy/abusive.
- any romance fics where the main characters' friends or family get way too invested in making the ship happen, especially if the lengths they go to while setting them up with each other involve lots of secondhand embarrassment or disregarding established boundaries because "You'd be so cute together!"/"You'll thank me later!"/"You need to be open to new experiences!" etc.
- "I headcanon Character X as 100% gay/100% straight, no exceptions" as a premise (especially re: contemporary Western concepts and vocabulary for sexual orientation in canons or settings where that wouldn't make a lot of sense); this can admittedly be hard to quantify if the only thing to go on is the vibes of the story, but if there's an author's note to this effect on the fic, or the story goes out of its way to retcon relationships that appear in canon, or it's used as the sole reason for two characters not to touch or interact with each other during a threesome, then definitely skip that one for me.

(any fandoms listed above and not expanded on below can be considered more or less "anything goes" due to being really tiny and/or me not having any strong preferences besides "YES, MORE/ANY PODFIC FOR THIS." Also, genfic is totally welcome for any requested fandom if you're not vibing with my ships, and I love stories of any and all ratings :D)


The Witcher

Seriously though, I like stuff in a Witcher context that I probably wouldn't have gone anywhere near in other fandoms, so, uh, don't worry too much about potentially squicking me with something weird that's not explicitly listed in my DNWs. XD

I'm also really into the smorgasbord approach lots of authors take re: mixing and matching from game/book/show canon to tell the stories they want to tell; really, I'm not so much specifically a fan of the various adaptations as I am of the nebulous meta-fandom entity that encompasses them all.

NB: I haven't, as of posting this, watched Season 3 of the Netflix series yet, although I am familiar with the relevant storyline of that part of the books not that that means much ahahahahahaha; I'll add an ETA if this changes between now and assignments going out.

- Lambert. You know that comic with the person shoving aside all the protagonists of a show, pointing at a character labeled "Some Gremlin," and declaring "THAT one's my favorite"? Yeah, basically that XD
- Aiden, my feral Cat son <3 I love Aiden Lives AUs, but I'm also down for a good angst fest with Lambert coping (or not coping!) with his feelings after Aiden's death
- Shani, AKA the only reason I can't definitively name Yennefer as my favorite romance option in the games. Pls give her nice things, she deserves them :')

Also amazing!)

- Geralt/Triss (specifically the book/game version; the Netflix series seems to have sidestepped that as a plot point so far). I'm okay with poly fics that include the pairing, as well as ones that feature it as a past relationship and/or deliberately explore the more fucked-up implications of the ship head-on, but anything that presents it in an unsubverted OTP way gets too far into the uncomfortable-for-me side of dub/noncon for me to be able to enjoy it.
- Yennefer bashing/villainization, especially to get her out of the way so Geralt/Jaskier endgame can happen. Portrayals of her as a complicated individual with rather selfish motivations are wonderful, other characters disliking her is fine, but I don't enjoy seeing her treated as a speed bump on the road to the author's OTP.
- related to the above, stories where Jaskier replaces Yennefer as Ciri's other parent, even when the portrayal of Yennefer is not overtly negative (Geralt/Jaskier/Yennefer OT3 where they're all co-parents is fine!)
- stories focused solely on Geralt apologizing/needing to atone for the Mountain Breakup
- Jaskier "trading up" by getting together (whether sexually/romantically or platonically) with another witcher after the Mountain Breakup, especially if the emphasis is on how much better/more communicative/etc. said witcher is than Geralt, or him rubbing the new relationship in Geralt's face
- Jaskier whump/woobification, especially delving into "Jaskier's family is irredeemably awful and his home life was traumatic" fanon territory
- I'm not super into Dettlaff, especially as part of a main ship, but background mentions or including him as part of an ensemble cast are fine


Stargate SG-1

Likes:
- anything Daniel-centric, whether shippy or gen
- Teal'c-centric stuff, especially exploring Jaffa culture and/or his adjustment to living on Earth
- Sam being a BAMF
- Jack snarking like a snarky thing
- mission fic
- team as family
- team as potential orgy waiting to happen

DNWs:
- Daniel/Vala
- not necessarily a hard no if he's included, but I'm pretty meh about Jonas
- I never got into Stargate Atlantis, so no crossovers with that part of the 'verse unless it's friendly for the canon-unfamiliar


Lord of the Rings

- Not a complete DNW, but I never got invested in The Hobbit fandom, although I have seen the movies; callbacks to that part of canon are fine, but I'd prefer they not be the main focus of the story.


Star Wars Original Trilogy

Star Wars Prequel Trilogy

- Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan, including fic with them getting together while Obi-Wan's still a padawan

- Qui or Obi shipped with other characters (sex or relationships with other partners prior to the two of them getting together is fine)
